Adel Besrour

Adel Besrour started his career as computer sciences and telecommunication researcher in the Swiss Federal Institute of technology. He then became a Technology Training Consulting with Siemens Networks Training Institute in Munich. Having gained five years experience in telecoms and training business he has been appointed as Training Line Manger for a Larger Telecom company Nokia Siemens Networks in the Middle East and Africa Region (Tunisia, Oman, Lebanon, South Africa, Morocco, etc), adding Technology sourcing, customer management and Telecommunication high-profit business development to his responsibilities.
During his management phase, Adel was formally trained in the skills of team leadership, project management and high-profit business development. He was heavily involved in developing the skills of his team and putting into place a formal technical competence toward telecom market maturity.
He then moved into Consulting and System Integration, of a Telecom Network International Leader company Ericsson, adding Technology, Strategy and Operation business. His experience, culminating as Consulting and Learning Services Market Unit Manager, responsible for a team of delivery, business development and sales managers and a turnover of circa 25Mo€.
After nearly 10 years total experience, Adel became involved in developing new account business, designing and delivering new consulting approach business and contributing in putting the new strategies and change program management within his company.
Since 2004, Adel has worked mainly in learning, competence development and consulting with a strong connection to the market change and the customer behavior transformation.
His experience of selling technical services solutions in a consulting approach at senior level provides Adel with a rounded view of the sales environment and allows him to work well with his customers, providing a good blend of Market strategy/Vision and underpinning technical knowledge.
Joined Ericsson, as Education Manager and responsible to build-up and drive a new Learning Services Organization in Market Unit Saudi.
In February 2009, I have been assigned to additionally handle the Consulting Business; passionately driving more revenue from this MU. This role entails sales and business development responsibilities towards a high gravity Market as Saudi.
The Consulting and Learning Services involves wider responsibilities including managing customer relationship at a high level, strategic account planning and overall accountability towards fulfilling contractual obligations and maximizing customer satisfaction.
I keenly work with all the Consulting and Learning Service team to exceed the customer satisfaction and contribute to drive Ericsson programs in Saudi Region
2005 - 2008I have been engaged on the NSN/Siemens account with Blended Training Solutions since 2005, upon joining I was designated Senior Telecom Trainer for both vendor and operator accounts (av. 120 course days per year). In 2006 I was promoted to Blended Learning Solutions Manager for the MEA region. This task includes activities in customer management, delivery management, resources management and facility management. The blended learning solutions are a new training delivery approach where the tools and methodologies of training are adapted and designed according to the projects context and the customer needs. Various methodologies are used with NSN/Siemens such as the famous Instructor lead training, but also the distant laboratories, e-Learning, Synchronous virtual university, etc.
The quality of service we offered in Tunisia helped the Global to decide outsourcing some of their programs vs. departments in Tunisia. I’ve been designed since 2006 as a project manager responsible of the outsourcing program of the e-Solutions content development (partners enabling, contract management, etc).
In 2007, training services have been named part of the Competence Development Service, where besides the delivery; a high emphasize has been stressed toward customer solution consulting and training customer projects. Therefore, I used to introduce and implement this new approach to the customers by offering GAP Analysis, Curriculum Design, Competences development plan and mostly the implementation of certification and qualification programs.
